Where the hell have I been...

Just realized that I've not been blogging for more than half a year. Then again, I've actually not been blogging actively since a long time ago, preferring only to read the blogs of others. I know I'm lazy, heh.

Thanks to the advancement of technologies, I can now be blogging via a smartphone while lying comfortably on the bed, instead of trying to mince words out, sitting in front of the computer.

There's probably a lot more I could talk about, but if I just keep on the nonsensical babbling, I'm afraid it's gonna bored a lot of people out there, so I'll just keep it short, and maybe tell the stories through multiple back dated blog post, heh.

Anyway, it's pretty late now, so I'll end this post with some pictures. Do stay tune on more upcoming posts!

FMFA 2013

Hola amigos!

The Future Music Festival Asia (FMFA) 2013 has been confirmed... and it would be bigger than ever!

It would be held at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) on 15th (Friday) and 16th (Saturday) of March 2013.

Many artists and EDM DJs would be featured at the party itself, with the King of Trance and World's #1 DJ - Armin Van Buuren himself, leading the ASOT600! Second day would feature various artists & DJs!

Now this certainly is a big event that I wouldn't wanna miss out!

Now then, I've already got my VIP access ticket here... though it cost me something for being priced at RM388 for 2 days... but for me, it's something worth splurging for.

Well, can't wait for the day to come!

FMFA 2013 TIX

Aeons ago

Just happened to realized that my blog has lied dormant for a long, long time... actually no, I've been realizing this since aeons ago, but just being too lazy to update it.

Part of the reason i decided not to blog is because previously my social life is nothing much to shout about, or just being plain dull. By luck, that has changed. So I thought: "Maybe I should try blogging again..."

Then again, I wonder who would be bothered to read my blog now - so essentially I'm talking to myself... *forever alone wtf*

Hokkaido Ichiba @ The Gardens Mall, Mid Valley

On a Monday afternoon, I was in office pondering what to have for Dinner, and as soon as I posted my thought on twitter, a friend of mine, Vanessa - suggested me on trying this place - Hokkaido Ichiba.

Honestly, I've heard about this Japanese Restaurant many times, but never really get to try it.

Now, thx to Vanessa, I finally got to try it out.

We arrived there around 8pm, and got sitted near the tiled glass windows with a good view. (Too bad i forgot to take picture!)

I was wondering what to order due to the vast amount of selection available on the menu. All of the selections look tempting - dilemma dilemma.

At the end, I decided to order a Teishoku (set meal) - Sakura Chirashidon Zen.

Sakura Chirashidon Zen (RM36)

The Chirashidon comes with Sake (Salmon), Hamachi (Yellow Tail), Maguro (Tuna), Hotate (Scallop), Ebi (Prawn), Kani (Crab), Tamagoyaki (Egg Roll) and rice.

This one is really good - all the sashimi are fresh and tasted right. Beneath the Sashimis are the don (rice), sprinkled with tiny Sakura candy sprinkles, sesames and seaweeds.

The set comes with a Chawanmushi, Miso Soup, some preserved ginger & fruits (honeymelon & watermelon).

It was really filling - and considering my usual appetite, a person with small appetite would probably not be able to finish it.

Vanessa ordered a Dobin-Mushi and some sushi. The Dobin-Mushi is basically a teapot sup - inside the teapot are some Japanese Bunashimeji mushroom, Hamachi (yellow tail), Ebi (prawn) and some other ingredient. A special Japanese lime comes together with it, and is usually squeezed into the soup only when one is prepared to drink the soup.

The bill comes at Rm70. Quite reasonable for a decent meal like this.

Never would I thought that I would return for a second visit right on the next day.

But the food is good, so I don't mind having it again.

Trust me, it IS really good. =)

This time, Dennis & Shelly joined us for the dinner, and thus, we can order something that could be shared by all of us. (Some of the food served in the menu comes in large portion that are meant to be shared.)

Hotate Salmon Ikura Don - (RM23)

Comes with Hotate (Scallops), Sake (Salmon) and Ikura (Salmon Roe). I like the taste of it. =D

Cheese & Ham Okonomiyaki (RM20)

Yums!

For those who don't know, Okonomiyaki is the Japanese savoury pancake containing a variety of ingredient that are quite popular in the Kansai Area of Japan. The word "Okonomi" basically means "What you like" in Japanese, while the word "yaki" basically means "cooked/grilled".
(There's also a different version of it in Hiroshima)

The food serves here taste really good. The sashimi are served fresh, and they taste quite good. Much better than those served in some other well-known Japanese F&B chainstores. =P
(I refuse to name them out base on the ground that they might sue me if I do so, but I think most people can guess it correctly. =P )

The Interior feels good, have a hint of Japanese style, and are kept clean all the time. The kitchen is visible, and we can actually see how the chefs prepare the foods.

There's some better view at the other part of the restaurant but sadly I didn't manage to take a picture of it.

A dinner for 4 of us cost around RM150, but considering what we ordered, the price was quite reasonable. All of us are satisfy with the food.

Would probably take more pictures of the food and surroundings on the next visit.

This is a place definitely worth visiting again.

Sometimes being too confident in a certain skill aren't exactly the good thing. The part probably came when the confidence override both judgement and common sense.

Maybe I should just... kick myself.

Hola! It's been a while, hasn't it?

Recap - so far:

First I decided to open a new blog.

Then days later I started to ignore it, totally, for a few months.

Can't really find the inspiration to blog - and even if I do, sporadically, I'm probably too lazy to do it. (>_<)

Maybe something is pushing me back into the blogging mode again, but whatever it is, I'm not really sure - about it.

Maybe it's the constant blog reading - I often read blogs written by others. Probably this is the reason behind the sudden desire to blog - again. =S

Heck, I'm probably just crapping all the way. Seriously, I need to find something interesting to post up - or I'll probably be leave this blog in the depths of webs again. (-_-")

Till then, we shall meet again.

The New Beginning

Finally decided to change and finalize my new blog properly.

Wonder how long have I taken to finally make up my mind. *Gargh!*

Gonna abandoned my old blogs. Bye Past! Hello Future! =D

On another note,

I'm hosting a Norwegian Youth under the Lions Club International Youth Exchange Program.

She's arriving on the 15th... which means, tmr.

OMG so excited can die lol!

(Ain't sure why am I more excited than I thought I would be lol.)
